Volunteering
Volunteers are an integral part of any non-profit and we are no exception. We are constantly needing volunteers to help run the house and fundraising events. Here are a few samples of the tasks that are available:
Individuals or Groups needed to:
- Answer telephone; greet guests
- Assist staff with clerical projects
- Clean and organize closets, cabinets, pantry, laundry rooms
- General house cleaning
- Prepare and serve dinner for guests
- Provide covered-dish suppers for guests
- Provide donations of kitchen and household products
- Assist with mailing projects
- Organize a can food and paper goods drive
- Serve on fund raising events committee to benefit the
- Hospitality House
- Substitute Resident Manager duty
- Help with lawn maintenance
- Work with Bargainata Committee
- Decorate and stock Angel Trees
